Read the extraction building first
The wrong extraction point is the biggest time sink in this objective. Cargo Elevators have the broad, bunker-like profile, large doors, a roofline you can climb, and the antenna assembly above. Smaller hatches, shafts, and station-style exits won't advance Phantom Targets. From what I've seen, players who pause for five seconds to confirm the building save far more time than players who sprint straight to the closest extraction marker. Rooftop exposure is real, so plan the route away before starting the interaction.

You can upgrade three different Cargo Elevator antennas across Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and Riven Tides, and the count carries between deployments. That removes the pressure to force an all-in-one run. A two-elevator route on Dam Battlegrounds is great when the next building is naturally on your rotation; a cross-map sprint through open ground is not. The smart play is to take the free progress your spawn gives you, then reset your plan after each completed antenna. Efficiency isn't always speed-it's protecting the progress you already earned.
The counter beats the rooftop visuals
Here's what I wish more guides emphasized: the antenna can still look active after you interact with it. Don't waste time repeating the prompt just because the equipment hasn't visibly changed. Open Phantom Targets and inspect the objective counter instead. If it increased, move on. If it didn't, reposition around the antenna, try another approach angle near the scaffolding, and make sure you are not revisiting an elevator already counted. I could be wrong but the visual state seems much less trustworthy than the recorded project progress.
