One thing worth remembering while preparing is your collection of ARC Raiders BluePrints. Valuable blueprints can become useful when you are deciding which items to keep for the upcoming Expedition changes. At the same time, there are limited-time rewards to collect and a currency that needs to be spent before Frozen Trail goes live.

Spend Your Cred Before It Disappears

The most urgent job is dealing with Cred. The currency is being retired with the Frozen Trail update, meaning unused Cred will not simply remain in your account after October 8.

If you have built up a large balance, do not leave it untouched because you expect it to convert automatically. Instead, visit Shani or use your Raider Decks to redeem what you have accumulated.

This is an easy task to forget because Cred may have been sitting in your account for a long time. However, the upcoming change gives it a firm deadline. Spending it before the update is much safer than waiting until the final hours.

Finish Ermal's Autumn Event

The next deadline arrives much earlier. Ermal's Autumn event runs until September 27, giving players only a limited amount of time to collect its rewards.

The basic activity involves gathering nature supplies while exploring topside and exchanging them with Ermal. It is a straightforward objective, so players can work it into normal runs rather than treating it as a completely separate grind.

Season 5 is also entering its final stretch, and Trials are disabled during this final week. That makes the Autumn event one of the more useful short-term activities to focus on before the season moves on.

Finish Ascending the Mountain

Ascending the Mountain gives players a little more breathing room, but its October 5 deadline is still worth marking on your calendar.

The project contains four stages with different material requirements. If you have already started, check exactly what remains instead of collecting materials randomly. This can help you avoid spending several runs gathering resources that you no longer need.

The rewards are also connected to preparation for the Expedition 5 launch window. Getting the required stages completed can give you useful items and gear before the new progression period begins.

Because the project ends only three days before Frozen Trail, it is better to finish it early if possible.

Organize Your Stash

The final preparation step is less about a deadline and more about making smart use of your existing inventory.

A new late-game Trader is coming for level 25+ players, along with the Expedition Vault perk. The system will allow players to carry up to five items across the Expedition reset.

That makes valuable weapons, rare loot, and useful blueprints worth reviewing now. The Hullcracker blueprint is one example of something players may want to consider carefully when deciding what deserves space.

You only have five slots, so do not treat the vault as a reason to keep everything. Think about what would actually help you when starting the next stage of progression.

Make the Final Check

Before October 8 arrives, take a few minutes to review your account. Spend your remaining Cred, finish Ermal's event, complete as much of Ascending the Mountain as possible, and sort out the five items you may want to carry through the Expedition reset.
