MLB The Show 26 Multiplayer 9 rewards George Brett at 120,000 XP, with four other 99-overall cards, online missions, bonus objectives, and packs on the track.

Multiplayer 9 rewards in MLB The Show 26 depend on where you play, not just how much time you put into Diamond Dynasty. You may use MLB 26 stubs to address roster needs, but program XP comes from eligible online objectives. Before starting a session, choose a mode that advances the track and decide which player reward is worth your time.

Choose a target before chasing every reward

The program opens October 27 and expires December 1. Its five 99-overall player rewards begin with Awards Hank Greenberg at 10,000 program XP, followed by Pete Hill at 35,000 and Josh Gibson at 60,000. Milestone Garrett Crochet arrives at 85,000, while Milestone George Brett is the final player reward at 120,000.

Those checkpoints make it reasonable to stop at the card that fits your roster rather than treating Brett as the only worthwhile goal. A player who needs a catcher can aim for Gibson first, while someone looking for a starting pitcher has a later target in Crochet. Continuing to 150,000 XP earns 50 The Show Packs, with a Ranked World Series Rewind pack along the way at 140,000.

Keep your games inside the eligible modes

Standard missions and the repeatable Parallel XP task count progress in five modes: 1 vs 1 Ranked, Ranked Co-op, Battle Royale, Events and Weekend Classic. Games outside those modes won't advance those objectives. Check your selection before committing to a long session, especially if you're switching between online and other Diamond Dynasty activities.

The 17 standard missions are worth 125,000 program XP in total. Completing them all clears Brett's 120,000 XP requirement without bonus missions, leaving a 5,000 XP margin. The mission groups award 50,000 XP for total bases, 30,000 for strikeouts, 25,000 for home runs and 20,000 for runs scored. Track the categories you still need rather than judging progress only by games played.

Use overlapping objectives to guide each session

Offensive production can move several counters at once. A home run contributes one home run, four total bases and at least one run scored, so an inning with extra-base hits and scoring opportunities can advance multiple mission groups. Pitching strikeouts serve a separate objective, giving you another reason to keep an eye on both sides of the game.

Eligible play also awards 5,000 program XP for every 15,000 Parallel XP through a repeatable task. Four one-time Wheel Bonus missions offer 30,000 XP each for reaching 600 total bases, 200 strikeouts, 50 home runs or 200 runs. Battle Royale has three additional missions worth 20,000 XP combined; its five-win objective requires those wins in a single entry, so they won't carry into the next one.

Match the player rewards to your lineup

Gibson is a useful target if catcher is a weak spot or you value positional flexibility. His card has 125 Power against right-handed pitchers, 118 against lefties and 77 Speed. He can also play first base, third base and all three outfield positions, allowing you to move him if another catcher takes over.

Brett is a contact-focused third baseman with 125 Contact against both pitching sides, plus 125 Vision and 125 Clutch. His Power is 112 against righties and 93 against lefties, and first base is his secondary position. Separately, the Ranked Seasons World Series Choice Pack offers 99-overall 2026 Finest Bryce Harper and Byron Buxton; Harper has 125 Clutch, while Buxton provides speed and center-field defense.

Before your next session, check your remaining mission totals and pick an eligible mode that fits the objectives you still need. If you're considering MLB stubs for other roster decisions, keep that separate from your program plan: earn and claim the Multiplayer 9 rewards you want before the December 1 expiry.
