PoE Currency Migration Explained by U4GM

Path of Exile 1 players, don't leave your Ducats gathering dust. Get your stash sorted before Allflame ends, then head into the new league ready for a fresh start.

PoE currency from Curse of the Allflame does not enter the 3.30 economy: it remains in the permanent league after migration, so convert Ducats before November 9. Grinding remains the standard route, while POE currency can help fill a gap before early mapping starts. The four-day pause from November 9 to November 13 is for sorting wealth, not carrying 3.29 items into a fresh market.

What Actually Moves After Allflame Ends

Currency earned in 3.29 moves to the permanent league after the league closes. It does not seed the separate 3.30 trade economy, and characters starting on November 13 should not depend on 3.29 maps, fragments, or league stock.

Ducats are the biggest concern because their value drops when Curse of the Allflame ends. Convert them into Divine Orbs, Chaos Orbs, or other core stackable currency while players still need Allflame content finishes. Waiting until the evening of November 8 usually means dealing with fewer buyers and weaker offers.

Faustus Exchange Steps Before November 9

Faustus can handle mid-size currency moves through asynchronous orders, which is useful when direct whispers slow down during the closing week. The order remains available until it fills or you cancel it, and each order charges a gold fee.

Meet Faustus in Act 6 and invite him to your hideout.
Open Faustus and select the Currency Exchange interface.
Set the item you want under Want and the item you are offering under Have.
Review the displayed ratio, stack size, and gold fee before confirming the order.
Check the order panel after confirmation. A filled order shows the received currency, while an unmatched order remains listed for later completion.

Use this route for Divine and Chaos trades that are too large for casual direct trading but not large enough to justify waiting through several private messages. Clear every Allflame-only order before the league closes. A stale order can keep gold tied up without preserving useful value for 3.30.

Stash Cleanup and Currency Priorities

Separate permanent-league wealth from your planned 3.30 starter setup. Put Divine Orbs and liquid Chaos stacks in the permanent tab, then keep league-start materials clearly apart so you do not mistake old maps or fragments for fresh-economy supplies.

Run one pass through premium tabs before November 9. Vendor low-value rare items, lock craft bases worth a Divine or more, and move everything else into a sale tab. Put stackable currency near the top of the tab so buyers can read the total without asking you to reorganize the listing.

Mirror-tier items and high-weight unique bases can still trade on Divine values during November 2 through November 8. List those sales early with a clear stack size. During the last hours on November 9, fewer buyers and faster undercuts make large listings harder to close.

Price Scarabs, map fragments, and Allflame-specific craft fuels against the days of demand left. If a Scarab only supports a 3.29 farm that players will stop running after November 6, sell it before then, even at a discount. Holding it for a market that no longer uses the mechanic creates no useful purchasing power.

Divine and Chaos Planning During the Gap

Divine Orbs remain the main high-value craft reference across the end of 3.29 and the start of 3.30, but the two economies should not be treated as one price sheet. Compare several recent fills before selling a large stack, and prefer smaller daily sales over one panic listing on November 9.

Keep enough Chaos Orbs for two full map craft days and any last 3.29 boss attempts. Move the rest into Divines after the Ducats are gone. This protects the Divine stack reserved for early 3.30 crafts while leaving enough flexible currency for the four-day gap.

Exalted-equivalent crafts on the permanent realm should be listed with a Divine reference for clarity. If a buyer thinks in Chaos, write the Divine conversion in the listing note field where the client allows it. Clear pricing prevents cross-league confusion during the dump week.

November 9 Through November 13

Do not expect 3.29 Divine rates to match 3.30 week-one rates. Fresh economies reprice materials, crafts, and early mapping supplies, so the sensible target is portable permanent-league wealth rather than a perfect forecast of November 13 ratios.

Stop buying Allflame-only crafting materials after November 7 unless a specific boss attempt still needs them. Spend them, sell them, or convert them while demand remains. The same rule applies to challenge leftovers that only serve a 3.29 trophy.

Remove public party listings after the character that priced them has emptied its inventory. Ghost listings waste buyer time and make the remaining genuine offers harder to spot. Before November 13, confirm the league-start character, clear Faustus orders, convert Ducats, and verify that your Divine and Chaos stacks sit in the permanent league.

Next, open the stash and complete the Faustus cleanup before November 8, then compare any remaining gap with POE buy currency options only after checking the correct league and the exact amount needed for your first 3.30 crafts.
