Which Christmas products are worth selling?

I run a small dropshipping store and want to add some Christmas products this year, but I'm having trouble deciding what to focus on. Last year I listed a few holiday decorations that barely sold until December, then demand disappeared almost overnight. I'd rather find products that people start buying earlier in the season, instead of relying on a couple of busy weeks before Christmas. How do other sellers choose seasonal products with enough demand to make the effort worthwhile? Are there particular categories I should be looking at?

Last year's result tells you something already: decorations can sit there for weeks, then suddenly move for a short burst and stop just as fast. That makes them a risky choice if most of your seasonal range depends on the same few weeks. Look at products people start buying while they're getting ready for Christmas, such as baking accessories, craft kits, wrapping supplies and smaller gift items. Check when search interest started rising last year and build your shortlist around products that begin moving before December.

Christmas stock doesn't give you much time to recover from a bad choice. By the time you realise an item isn't moving, a big part of the season may already be gone.
